Dylan Ratigan,s new book GREEDY BASTARDS makes mention of a new technique called'' flipping the classroom'' With this technique the students get the lesson/lecture at home and do the homework in the classroom under the coaching of the teacher. For adults the instructional resources for the at home lessons would be GED Connections and the Kahn Academy. Both of these resources are available on the website 2ndchaceeducation.org. I'm curious, how many students are currently being served using this technique?

I’m just curious. Is any program out there doing ABE classes with any or preferably all of these characteristics: managed enrollment (beginning and ending dates), single-level (not mixed level), and perhaps some kind of modular (not individualized) curriculum? ** Robert Moore Director of Adult Education Monroe County Community School Corporation Broadview Learning Center 705 W. I believe I saw a program like that at the Gary School System. That would have been 5 years ago.
